I'm having an MRI early tomorrow morning -- 45 minutes of lying perfectly still while they try to figure out what's going on with my shoulder.

ReplyDeleteMRIs are certainly not fun, but what they can show is incredible. I won't see the doctor for a week, but I saw enough to know there's fluid in there that doesn't belong.
I'll be back to blog tonight. Thanks again for your support -- of this blog and my shoulder ; )
Jo is right—first time I read that clue yesterday I thought it was clever. Second or third time I looked at it, I raised an eyebrow. (It's only off-color to say you hope they get to the bottom of Linda's problem if it's a colonoscopy rather than a shoulder MRI! See? My mind goes there sometimes.)
ReplyDeleteLinda, one advantage of getting an MRI is that you can usually convince the doctor to prescribe a couple Valium so you can relax more thoroughly during the scan. Or is that just me? Hope that fluid can magically disappear without orthopedic torment!
